Powerful IO-Link Master Web Interface for IO-Link, EtherNet/IP™, and Modbus TCP Configuration
- IO-Link – typically, IO-Link port configuration is not required since the Pepperl+Fuchs Comtrol IO-Link Master and IO-Link devices automatically negotiate the minimum cycle time and communicate upon connection. You can configure the IO-Link ports to run in digital input or digital output mode.
This screen shot illustrates the following:
- Port 1 – Configured for Identical Device Validation Mode
- Port 2 – Configured for Data Storage (Automatic Upload), Compatible Device Validation Mode, and Strict Data Validation Mode
- Port 3 – Configured for Data Storage (Automatic Download), Compatible Device Validation Mode, and Loose Data Validation Mode
- Port 4 – Configured for Compatible Device Validation Mode
- Port 5 – Configured for Compatible Device Validation Mode and Loose Data Validation Mode
- Port 6 – Configured for a digital input device
- Ports 7-8 – Configured with the default values
Configure the IO-Link devices attached to the port before enabling data storage features.
- EtherNet/IP™ – provides EtherNet/IP™ configuration to control these settings:
- ISDU data
- Process data
- Transfer mode
- Read/Write Tag/File
- Write PDI to Tag/File
- Read PDO from Tag/File
For detailed information about the IO-Link Master EtherNet/IP™ interface, refer to the IO-Link Master EtherNet/IP™ Reference Manual.
- Modbus TCP – provides Modbus TCP configuration to control these settings:
- ISDU data
- Process data
- Transfer mode
For detailed information about the IO-Link Master Modbus TCP interface, refer to the IO-Link Master Modbus TCP Reference Manual.
