Ethernet Switch Gigabit

Ethernet Switch Gigabit

Ethernet Switch Gigabit is designed to be used in conjunction with a gigabit router and will allow use of local network at high speeds. Switches are created to pass traffic through as quickly as possible without interference. They are especially helpful when more ports are needed on the network. Ethernet Switch Gigabit are also compatible with 10/100 networks, which are sufficient for most home or small office networks and will bring you error-free data transactions. Gigabit network switches are available for even faster transfer rates when more computers are needed within the same network. Switches are ideal for both private consumers and businesses to transfer and transmit data, video, and audio files. These switches support jumbo frame up to 9,216 bytes. Switches are typically mounted within a 19-inch rack, along with other 19-inch public servers or other network devices. The embedded software supports full Layer 2 management features, multi-form ring redundancy, network control, monitoring, security and notification.

Features of Ethernet Switch Gigabit:

  • Connect multiple computers together within the same network
  • Expand the capacity of a network with more ports
  • Usually unmanaged
  • First point of contact between your computer and the outside world
  • Manage traffic between multiple computers in the same network
